Welcome to EDCO!
The EDCO Youth Alternative provides a full academic program, along with counseling and related student services, for students who require a more supportive environment than a large, traditional high school can offer. The program is funded by the City of Boston, the Boston Public Schools, the Department of Labor and other sponsoring agencies. This website is a resource for both current students and staff as well as guests and visitors curious about the program.

Student Work
Adobe Youth Voices A Media Arts course last year is working with the Adobe Creative Suite, thanks to an investment made by EDCO Collaborative in this software suite and technology upgrades for all classrooms, resulting in a 1-to-1 program where all students have laptops and online access during the school day.

This builds off of a years-old grant through the Adobe Foundation in their Adobe Youth Voices program. The AYV program empowers students to create with purpose and re-examine the media around them.
